Question by ineedgirlhelp: Need help writing a college level thesis paper?
I need to Develop a thesis about how this example of technology affected social, economic, political, artistic and/or intellectual events in the twentieth century. My paper will be on the automobile. Any ideas on what I could write about or what a good thesis would be? This is a debatable essay so i should expect other sides thoughts.

This is a very broad topic so you can basically write whatever which will make this paper fun.
A good way to develop a thesis is to start with.. I think that.. and then state your opinions and ideas. When you have that, go back and erase the I think that and state it as fact. Then you viola you have your thesis.
Something like.. I think that the automobile affect all aspects of the American culture making it easier for people to traverse the United States, broke up the public transportation monopolies that were developing, and … whatever else you want..
I don’t know too much about the automobile industry.
I just read Fast Food Nation and it talked alot in the beginning chapters about how the car changed the way the American family lived, obviously in reference to their eating habits, but it also changed the flow of money, time spent in the household, as well as many other things. So you could use that for one body paragraph.
